Following the national lockdown in March 2020, rights holders became more amenable to live streaming of theatre productions. In the summer of 2020 the Theatre Committee made plans for a short season of plays that could be rehearsed and performed in a Covid-secure manner. These plans included one performance within the run that was to be live streamed, when rights allowed.
