Introduction

Ivan, the husband of his wife, has been asked to give a lecture, "Why not? You want a lecture, you'll get a lecture? I couldn't care less." Just between ourselves he didn't personally chose this particular topic and isn't technically a professor but he does hope that his lecture will be of some benefit (although he is a smoker himself).
