Introduction
Simon Block is that rare thing, an established writer with no discernible online presence.
Apart from Chimps, his plays include Not A Game For Boys (Royal Court 1995), A Place At The Table (Bush 2000), Hand In Hand (Hampstead 2002) and an adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything Is Illuminated (Hampstead 2006). He writes predominantly for television, including for Lewis, Wire In The Blood, New Tricks, Hotel Babylon and Casualty 1909.
