Introduction
Evelyn and Peter, happily married for years, are forced to confront the biggest challenge of their lives when she begins to lose touch with the world. Meanwhile, love seems to have blossomed in the most unlikely way for their daughter Sally at a friend's matrimonial celebrations. A Wedding Story tells the tale of a family's foibles and fortitude when they are confronted with a bleak future, a play that fizzes with the dark humour that helps us pull through when real life seems too hard to bear. By turns despairing and uplifting, this is a tender piece of modern drama, simply and deftly told.
