I remember with great fondness Juliet Male being thrown head first into the cauldron each night and watching cast members corpsing at the sight. I still hear the line A Lion, A Lion!! every time I see one.... and who could forget those animal heads especially John Hartnett's big bird impersonation - Bruce Murray, Director

This was a huge ensemble piece, and I remember all the big group of children from the Saturday drama group keeping amused upstairs in the big studio room on the 1st floor - you can see some of the photos of rehearsals and dress rehearsals. We were the Munchkin children, and got to sing some of the songs about the wicked witch being dead. Due to the squash on the stage, with so many actors, there wasn't any room for movement, I recall. Philip Parker (cast member)
