The remains of mirrors and light fittings round the walls showed that it originally doubled as the dressing room(s) with a microphone relaying the show and a telephone for the stage manager to call cast members as needed.
It had a fire-escape down a spiral staircase that leads down the outside of the building to the Large flat roof and the caretakers flat.
After the renovation it will be the main wardrobe room
In use as a dressing room for Carmilla (1981)
and for rehearsals of The Libertine (2007)
