[hide]Introduction
Lucy Kirkwood’s play Maryland was taken up by the Royal Court and its script distributed free of charge for limited performances by any theatres, such as SLT, wanting to draw attention to a number of horrendous femicides in previous months. To quote the Royal Court "We have all stepped up to Lucy Kirkwood's extraordinary rallying cry and are able to give her voice our space in search of some kind of understanding, howl, communal event in light of the horrific actions still being committed against all women and victims of gendered violence."

Reviews
Congratulations to Lottie and her cast and crew for putting together Maryland in record time, for how well-conceived the production was - and that a show advertised as script in hand was actually performed with confidence, fully off the book. I suspect it brought in a lot of people who weren't aware of the existence of SLT - and who will hopefully come back again.
