Introduction

The full title of the play is "The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery" and was presented with SLTC members playing the parts of the Townswomen's Guild Society, playing the parts in the Murder Mystery. I hope that is all clear, it will explain the double credits below.

The action of "Murder at Checkmate Manor" takes place in the drawing room on the second floor of Checkmate Manor, Lady Doreen's ancestoral home, an isolated house near the sea.

The action of "The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery" takes place in a theatre near you.
