by Tom Basden after Franz Kafka

Designed & Directed by Chaz Doyle

Performances: Tue 8th – Sat 12th September 2015, Bell Theatre

Introduction

Joseph K is determined to clear his name. No one will tell him how or even what he is accused of. Everyone is getting weirder and his life is falling apart.

In Tom Basden's slick, darkly comic adaption of The Trial, Franz Kafka's story is right at home in a 21st century paranoid about surveillance, faceless bureaucracy and illogical legality.
